SPORTS & FITNESS BACKGROUND:  I was a competitive gymnast for quite awhile when I was younger. In high school I played volleyball and participated in winter and spring track. I was a state and county champ in the hurdles. I did long jump, triple jump and various sprinting relays as well.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES/INTERESTS?
My interests include being the best dog mom to my two rescue dogs and visiting breweries with my husband.

HOW DID YOU FIRST GET EXPOSED TO CROSSFIT? Take us back to your first WOD.... what was it, anyhow did it feel?
I had been told by a close friend for a couple of years that I would love CrossFit, I wish I had listened to her sooner. The only thing I remember about my first WOD was doing banded pull ups. I remember thinking it was HARD but I remember feeling more accomplished than I had in a long time when I finished it.

HOW HAS CROSSFIT IMPACTED YOUR LIFE?
I have had multiple gym memberships, I have tried hot yoga, Zumba and spin, none of them stuck. Walking into Crossfit Absecon was the best thing I could have done for myself. I don’t like working out and this is the best relationship I’ve ever had with working out. I hated wandering around a regular gym by myself not knowing what to do and having no motivation to push myself. CrossFit makes me do what I’m actually capable of.
